One-to-One Development for Leaders

Through Full Circle Learning I provide a one-to-one development experience for select  senior leaders and hi potential talent. Most engagements occur over a six to 12 month period and combine both face-to-face, telephone, and online communication.

The focus of an executive coaching engagement is to help a leader become more strategic in the use of their own personal power and energy—to live with soul, to lead with soul. Strategic business objectives become part of the conversation as leaders learn how to liberate their discretionary energy through personal development. The goal is not only to create a personal development practice, but to learn how to adapt and evolve that practice over time and to their unique needs.

Together we develop a customized plan that includes  learning to use the 4 Touchpointssm  as a process for deeper reflection and awareness. While the engagement might include leadership strengths to be leveraged, competencies to be developed, or results of 360 feedback, the primary focus of the conversation is on the “soil” in which these seeds fall. The leader learns how to get their story straight, have their heart in the right place, and be able to meet each moment as both a teaching and learning opportunity. The questions of who I am, where I belong, what I care about, and what is my purpose are used as practical vehicles for learning a language for complex, strategic thinking—thinking that can discriminate between problems to be solved, dilemmas to be managed, and the challenge of holding competing commitments in the present moment. Leaders learn “to not judge too soon, or decide too late.”
